To complement our history topic on Darwin, the children learnt about the life and achievements of Charles Darwin during a taught ‘Discovering Darwin’ session at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, including a walking tour.
Through the Story Box Ritual, children got to meet a young Charles Darwin who set them a range of challenges. Through practical and engaging activities, the children saw how Darwin’s life was shaped and influenced by his early curiosity and his love of the natural world and science.
