Shrewsbury Town FC Visit

Tuesday 25th February 2025

We have been lucky enough to welcome two Shrewsbury Town FC football players to Mereside, George Nurse and Taylor Perry. ⚽️

Year 3 had the opportunity to enjoy learning different skills and playing team games with the players, we even got them to join in with playing chaos tag!

Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to have some time to ask George and Taylor all about their career as footballers and if they had any advice for those children who would like to peruse a career in football. 🌟

Number Day 2025

➕✖️➗➖ Number day – Friday 7th February 2025 ➕✖️➗➖

What a great number day we have had in year 3, we have made times table flowers to help support our learning. We then completed the buddy challenge, we worked as a team to find the clues to find the missing pieces of our puzzle.
Finally we took part in who wants to be a Mathionaire!
