Isabel, in Otters Class, has worked really hard throughout the year saving up her House Points (children are able to cash in House Points throughout the year to earn various rewards/prizes)! The prize that Isabel chose was to be the teacher for a lesson. The lesson Isabel chose to teach was Art – she created a lesson plan, a PowerPoint and printed resources which her peers would need to be successful in her lesson. Isabel chose to focus on the artist Alma Thomas who is an American artist famous for her abstract circular paintings. Isabel provided really clear instructions on how Otters Class could successfully create their own Alma inspired paintings – we had so much fun!
