World Mental Health Day 2025

🌼 World Mental Health Day 🌼

On World Mental Health Day, our school came together to raise awareness and show support for young people’s mental health. We all wore yellow in aid of the charity Young Minds, helping to spread the message that mental health matters — today and every day. 💛

Throughout the day, we talked about what mental health means, explored the different things that can affect how we feel, and learned about ways to keep our minds healthy, just like we do with our bodies. Pupils shared ideas about what helps them when they’re struggling — from talking to someone they trust, to spending time outdoors, or taking a break to relax.

To end the day, our School Council organised a fantastic bake sale after school. Thanks to everyone’s generous support (and love of cake!), we raised money for Young Minds, helping the charity continue their amazing work supporting children and young people across the country.

A big thank you to everyone who took part, baked, bought cakes, and wore yellow with pride — together, we’re helping to make a difference! 💛
