Thank you to everyone for making an effort to come into school by foot, scooter or bike for Yom Kippur it was great to teach the children about this religious event and why it is important to the Jewish community.
We are very grateful to the ladies f
rom Open the Book for coming in and re-enacting a Bible story with our fantastic year 6 actors!
We would also like to say a big thank you to all those families that donated to our Harvest foodbank, we have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of the Mereside community.
We had a wonderful Harvest celebration yesterday were each class shared their learning around this important time of year. Thinking about the importance of food, considering UK grown and seasonal produce and how we can try our best to ensure no one goes hungry and be thankful for Harvest time.
