Non-Uniform Day

Reminder that tomorrow (Friday 14th November 2025) is non-uniform day for Children in need.

Donations of £1 are to be paid via parent pay. Children are welcome to wear children in need merchandise.

Online Safety

This afternoon we have been looking at online safety and what cyberbullying is. During discussions the children have expressed in both year 4 classes that they are on a range of websites that are not age appropriate such as; fortnite, tic tok, facebook, instagram, call of duty etc.

Please can you speak to child/children about what websites they are using and why they have age ratings to reiterate what we have spoken about today.

Any questions please speak to your class teacher.

Many thanks

Miss Gee & Mr Giles

Safety Week

20th -23rd October 2025

This week is Safety Week, we will be learning about different ways we can keep safe such as; online safety, road safety, railway safety and how to keep ourselves safe with our mental and physical health by having good sleeping habits.

We will be doing this every afternoon this week, please ask your child/children what they have been learning about to promote conversations about how to keep ourselves safe.

Friday 10th October 2025

Reminder that today is World Mental Health Day, children are encouraged to wear something yellow in support of mental health in young minds. Also, after school today (3:15pm) there will be a bake sale held by school council located at the front of the school by the oak tree.

Thank you for your support,

Miss Gee

Forest School and Computing fun!

Happy Monday everyone,

We’ve been learning about Websites and publishing content today in our Computing lesson.

We also created a song together using a fantastic website called Chrome Music lab. Enjoy!

Also, just a quick reminder that Forest School starts this week with half the class on Wednesday and the other half on Thursday.

Thank you,

Mr Giles

Coats

Hi everyone,

Please can all children bring their coats to school everyday as we have several that are getting a bit wet and soggy (children not coats)!

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

Forest School FOXES

Hi everyone,

Apologies but there’s been a miscommunication about Forest School. On the sheet, it said that they started this week, but on the website, it said that it would be next week.

I can confirm that Forest School will start NEXT Wednesday and Thursday (8th and 9th) with some children on Wednesday and others on Thursday.

It will run for 3 weeks with the last sessions being on the 22nd and 23rd October.

Sorry again for the confusion.

Mr Giles

Photos tomorrow

Hi everyone,

We have school photos tomorrow (30.9.25), so please can children come to school in their uniform tomorrow with their PE kit in a bag. They will have their photos taken in the morning and will be getting changed before PE in the afternoon.

Thank you,

Mr Giles and Miss Gee
