DT – Bread Making

This half term, in DT, we will be looking at and making bread. Over the next few lessons, your child will have the opportunity to take part in tasting different types of bread including seeded, sourdough and milk roll. Please make your class teacher aware of any allergies or if you do not want your child to take part. If we do not hear from you, then we assume your child is able to take part.

World War II Projects – Thank You!

We have been amazed by the children’s efforts with the World War II projects! Such a range of outcomes, from 3-D models to posters/drawings to power point presentations and even baking!

We hope the children enjoyed sharing with you their learning from the half term whilst working on their projects.

Happy Half Term

Just wanting to share how well the children have started year 6. They have produced lots of high quality pieces of work and have shown great interest in the topics this half term. They also showed great maturity with their first set of assessments – showing lots of resilience throughout. Moreover, they have taken the responsibility of being the oldest in the school in their strides and have been great role models to the rest of the pupils, especially the sport captains, lunch duty monitors, prefects and school council members.

Have a fun, yet restful half term break!

See you back on Monday 3rd November
